Creating a diagram

• Using the popup menu option in the package explorer
  A new version create diagram is added to the package. When this option is used a new Class Diagram will be created reversing the selected java elements (project, package, classes)
• Using the new wizard

Adding existing java elements to a diagram

To add java elements to a diagram, the elements must dragged from the package explorer and dropped into a existing class/package diagram. If some element exists in the diagram is only refreshed.

Refreshing a diagram

When a diagram contains objects linked to java elements of the project, the reverse engineering can be refreshed at any moment

Only the linked elements will be refreshed, any object added manually will be preserved, thus allowing to mix objects linked to code with manual drawn elements

Views

The tool uses 3 views and the editor, the three views are:

• Overview view: thumbnail to view the full diagram and modify size(zoom) and position of the viewport
• Diagram properties view: should be used to change diagram object data
• Outline view: outline of the diagram elements

Action bar

• Undo, Redo, 3 horizontal align options, 3 vertical align options, layout, refresh, zoom in, zoom out, zoom select
